On Monday night, Fuji, a black and white cat with white paws and nose was reported missing by his family. He was last seen on June 9 in Beacon near Dominick Lane and Branette Lane. According to his owners, Fuji wandered off on Friday and they are worried about him during the current heat wave. He was last seen approximately a mile from his home. The East Fishkill Police Department said it received a report Monday afternoon of the bear sighted on a neighbors's property in the area of Quail Run Road in Wiccopee, a hamlet in East Fishkill. After a police officer had been sent to patrol the area since it's near a park and playground, it appeared the bear had moved on, police said.
