A 31-year-old Atlantic City man pleaded guilty to headbutting a police officer, authorities announced Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Nashid Seymore pleaded guilty to possession of a weapon and aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said. Per the terms of a plea agreement, he faces a year in prison, authorities said.

Michael Kane, 47, of Great Neck, was booked for second-degree assault after the elderly woman was hospitalized, the Nassau County Police Department said.
Kane was walking his dog in Great Neck around 4:15 p.m. Monday, Sept. 7 when he got in a dispute with the woman over his dog running on her lawn, investigators said. Kane then shoved the woman to the ground, cops said.

At 3:56 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 3, troopers responded to a crash on Route 9 south in Upper Township after a Honda motorcycle, driven by Ralph Watson, struck the driver's side of the Jeep, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State police said.
Watson and a passenger sustained serious injuries and were transported to an area hospital, Lebron said. Watson died the next day, Lebron said.

At 2:51 a.m., officers in Washington Township received a report of a missing 6-year-old girl in Washington Borough, the Warren County Prosecutor's Office said.
