Robert Faison, 49, was found guilty on June 26 of murdering Lindsey Hopkins, 42, at their Guilford home, the Office of the State's Attorney said Wednesday, Sept. 9. The panel sentenced him to 55 years in prison.

A Connecticut man has been sentenced to decades in prison after he admitted to shooting two friends in a parked car in New Haven in 2023, authorities said.
Cadell Harris, 43, was given a 45-year prison sentence earlier this month for the murders of Marquis McNeil Sr., 40, and Jonathan Garcia, 27, the State's Attorney's Office said.
Harris pleaded guilty on June 22, 2026, to the murders. Both victims lived in New Haven. He also pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a firearm, prosecutors said.
