: Man Police Cannot ID Shot Dead In York
A man was found shot dead in York City and police had yet to be able to identified him at the time of the police release at 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12. Officers were called to a report of a man shot dead with multiple gunshot wounds in the the 800 block of West College Avenue around 4:52 p.m., as detailed in the release. A former firefighter in multiple counties in Pennsylvania and a Vietnam veteran died on Wednesday, Sept. 11, his former station announced. Blaine W. Firefighters were called to car into a home in the 2300 block of Old Trail Road at 12:36 a.m., according to the Newberry Township Fire Department and York County Department of Emergency Services. One person has died and another is in the hospital following a single-vehicle crash in Lancaster County on early Thursday morning, Sept. 12, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications.
