Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Bonnet Burglars Wanted After Jumping Victims In MoCo (Video) Police are investigating a strong-armed robbery after a victim came forward about being jumped by two women last month. Montgomery County Police are offering a $10,000 reward after the two women assaulted and tried to rob the victim in the early afternoon hours of Wednesday, March 15. Fairfax Teacher Sexually Assaulted Student For Months: Police A special education teacher at a Fairax high school has been arrested by the Major Crimes Bureau’s Child Abuse Squad. James Madison High School learning disabilities teacher Allieh Kheradmand, 33, was taken into custody on Thursday, April 12 after school administration notified law enforcement about her inappropriate relationship with a student. Suspected Subway Killer Wanted After Pushing Man Onto Train Tracks Police have released an image of the man believed to have fatally pushed a 28-year-old man onto subway tracks earlier this week. Emergency crews rushed to the Port Discovery subway station in the 600 block of East Baltimore Street around 5:30 p.m. after receiving reports that a man had fallen onto the subway tracks. 25-Year-Old Killed In Overnight Attack In Baltimore A 25-year-old man is dead after a midnight shooting in Baltimore. Baltimore police officers were called to the 2300 block of East Oliver Street shortly after midnight, Friday, April 14 after reports of a shooting. Officers arrived at the scene to find the 25-year-old victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medics arrived shortly after and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Suspect Busted After Failed Murder Attempt At Baltimore Convenience Store An accused attempted murderer on the run for over a week was taken into custody by Baltimore police officers overnight. Anthony Ward is accused of shooting a 34-year-old man on the afternoon of Friday, March 31, according to Baltimore police. Baltimore Police Responding To Call Save Life Of Man Shot In Head Baltimore police officers responding to a reported stabbing saved the life of a shooting victim overnight, authorities announced.
