Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Suspects Sought In Olney Elementary Parking Lot Shooting (Video) Montgomery County Police detectives have released video surveillance of a vehicle they believe to be connected to a shooting in Olney late last month. Investigators say that a white Ford Fusion with minor front end damage was observed in the bus turn-around area of the parking lot of Brooke Grove Elementary School on Wednesday, March 29. Several suspects were pictured in and around the vehicle. One of the suspects then shot a gun several times before leaving on foot. The vehicle was later seen driving away from the scene. Rockville City Police along with Montgomery County Police detectives were called to the College Garden Elementary School on Yale Place after receiving reports that three students became sick on Monday, April 17. Second Suspect Charged In 2022 Murder Near Pimlico Elementary School A second suspect has been charged in the 2022 murder of a 31-year-old man in Baltimore. On Tuesday, April 11, Baltimore police arrested 18-year-old James Jenkins in connection to the June 2022 murder of Phillip Wallace. Aamir Benton was previously charged with the murder in January. Investigators say that Benton shot and killed Wallace while in the 4800 block of Pimlico Road on June 30, 2022. Jenkins was connected to the murder and has been charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder and First Degree Murder. Both Jenkins and Benton remained at Central Booking Intake Facility.
