Police Seek Man Who Made Sexual Comment To Woman At Hackettstown High School

Police are searching for the man who they say made a sexual comment to a woman at Hackettstown High School on Saturday, April 20, authorities said said.

At 12:35 p.m., an adult woman said the man made the comment to her while she was sitting in her car while parked in the junior parking lot, Hackettstown police said in a release. The woman began to yell and scream and he fled the area, police said.

The man then walked by the tennis courts on Warren Street and through the trail near the quarry toward the intersection of Center Street and Jefferson Street, police said. A witness told police a man matching the description was seen running on Jefferson Street and then made a left onto West Plane Street, police said.

He is described as Hispanic, in his mid-20s to early 30s with short black hair, dark blue jeans, a dark blue sweatshirt with light blue sleeves and sneakers with light brown soles on the bottom, police said. Police are asking anyone in the area to check their surveillance video for footage of the suspect.
