Four Caught, One Sought In Brutal Stabbing Death Outside NJ Bar
Authorities whoβve charged four men with the brutal murder of a man outside a Garfield bar last month turned to the public for help finding a fugitive gang member from Pennsylvania who sources said repeatedly stabbed the victim in the chest.
Ricky βAngelβ Vargas, 35, of East Stroudsburg, PA, and his friends confronted Richard Franceschi, 31, of Hawthorne outside JoJo's Bar & Grill on Monroe Street before dawn this past Feb. 4, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

Business Robbed At Gunpoint, Suspect At Large: Parsippany Police
A gunman who robbed a business in Parsippany on Friday, March 1 is being sought by police.
Officers responded to a business at 1280 Route 46 for the robbery, Parsippany police said on Facebook.
The suspect, armed with a handgun, was described as a tall, slender man with wearing all black clothing, a white trucker-style hat and white sneakers, police said.
Police evacuated people from the building as they conducted a search for the suspect, but were unable to locate him, officers said. The Morris County Sheriff's Office was also involved with the search, police said.

A potential tragedy was avoided when Leonia police subdued a combative man who grabbed the gun and Taser of officers who got him into custody, authorities said.
Officers Anthony Mikatarian, Young Cho, Debbie Maldonado and Devon O'Donnell responded to an assault call on Broad Avenue along with Special Law Enforcement Officer II Steve Oxnard around 2:40 p.m. Tuesday, March 12.

A California man was minutes from a dropoff after driving more than a dozen pounds of fentanyl and heroin cross country to New Jersey when he was stopped in Fort Lee for running a stop sign, authorities said.
