Three Teens Nabbed For Armed Robbery Of Victim in Virginia Beach
Three teens, two from Norfolk, were arrested for an armed robbery in Virginia Beach, officials said.On August 27, at around 2:30 p.m., a woman was robbed and assaulted by three teens in the 4300 block of Holland Road, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.
After a short vehicle and foot chase, the suspects who stole the victim's property were identified as 18-year-old Taquan Robinson, Tavern Calhoun, 18, and an unknown 17-year-old, officials reported.

Police have arrested a Virginia Beach man for causing fatal head injuries to another person while in a physical fight, officials said.On August 11, at around 11:15 p.m., Wesley Horbal, 26, and the victim were fighting at a business in the 3200 block of Shore Drive, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.
During the fight, the victim sustained a head injury and was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment, police reported.

Virginia Beach law enforcement investigated two separate drownings that occurred over the weekend, officials said.
On August 27, officers reported to the 16th Street area, where they discovered that 23-year-old Christian Flourentine of Alexandria disappeared in the water, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.
Flourentine's family member had seen him in the water hours prior, but after an extensive search, he was discovered deceased on the shoreline near 23rd Street, authorities said.
