Oops: Murder Suspect Accidentally Released From Virginia Prison Loudoun County police are searching for a man, who was charged with murder, after his recent release from prison, officials said. Stone Colburn, 25, was behind bars for stabbing his brother's girlfriend to death and severely wounding her nine-month-old in 2021, according to the Loudoun County Times. He was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on Oct. 6, 2022, due to a paperwork error, but new charges came to light the following morning, the website said. Wanted 27-Year-Old Fires Shots At Arlington County Police Officers An Arlington man is in police custody after he avoided officers and fired shots in their direction, officials said. In the evening of Oct. 6, officers attempted to pull over Ricardo Singleton, 27, who was wanted after a hit-and-run incident earlier in the day, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. Manassas Father Of Two Killed In Pedestrian Crash: Police A Manassas husband and father of two was hit by a car and killed, police said. On Oct. 5, at around 9 p.m., Bhupen Uprety was hit by a GMC Arcadia that was traveling near Chatsworth Drive, according to the Prince William County Police Department. Uprety was allegedly walking in the middle of the street in dark clothing, authorities said. FBI Issues Alert For Wanted 'Dapper Dan Bandit' In Virginia The FBI continue their search to find the "Dapper Dan Bandit" who stole money from a North Chesterfield bank, officials said. Hampton University Prays For 2 Students After Serious Plane Crash: Reports Hampton University cancelled classes on Friday, Oct. 7, in light of "two unfortunate incidents", WAVY.com reported The school did not specify the two incidents, but two students were seriously injured in a Newport News plane crash on Oct. 6. Couple Killed In Fairfax Crash Involving Speed, Alcohol: Police A couple from Prince William County was killed in an early morning crash in Fairfax County on Friday, Oct. 7, police said. At around 4 a.m., 51-year-old Lori Byars, the driver of a Mercedes, and 59-year-old David Turch, the passenger, were heading east on Leesburg Pike, when their car veered off the road, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
