This Chef Voted Long Island's Best The man who runs the kitchen of a popular seafood restaurant was voted the best chef on Long Island, according to Bethpage Best of Long Island. Chef Stephen Rosenbluth, who works at Anchor Down Seafood Bar & Grill in Merrick, was voted Long Island's best chef in 2022, the site said. According to the announcement, Rosenbluth has worked at the eatery since 2014 and has more than 20 years of experience working at numerous restaurants. Iconic Seafood Restaurant Opens Second Suffolk County Location A popular seafood restaurant known for its lobster rolls has opened a brand-new location on Long Island. On Friday, Dec. 9, Lobster Roll (also known as LUNCH) opened the eatery in Southampton, at 32 Montauk Highway in Southampton.  The owners also operate the iconic location in Amagansett, but the Southampton location is the first that is open year-round, representatives said.  The menu includes a variety of seafood dishes, such as homemade clam chowder, scallops, salmon filet, and of course, lobster specialties.  Check out the full menu here.
