Whole Foods Worker Goes Missing After Shift At North Jersey Store: Police
A 60-year-old Orange man has been missing since he worked a shift at Whole Foods Market on Sunday, April 21. Rousier Romain did not return home after he left his shift abruptly at the Whole Foods in Vauxhall, Township of Union police said. Romaine left Whole Foods at 3:40 p.m. and was last seen on foot in the parking lot near the fence along the edge of Route 78, adjacent to the property, police said. PA Driver, 48, Seriously Hurt In Early-Morning Route 78 Crash In Clinton Township: State Police
A 48-year-old Pennsylvania man was seriously injured in a crash on Route 78 in New Jersey overnight, police said. The Coplay driver lost control in Clinton Township around 3:50 a.m. Sunday, March 31 and ran off the roadway to the right, hitting a guardrail near on the westbound side, New Jersey State Police said. The driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The accident remains under investigation and there is no additional information available.

Man Killed In Route 78 Crash In Pohatcong: Coroner
A 64-year-old New York driver was killed in a crash on Route 78 in Warren County, New Jersey on Sunday, March 10, authorities said. At 5:43 p.m., Carmen Berretta, of Albany, NY, collided with another vehicle on Route 78 eastbound in Pohatcong Township, the Lehigh County, PA Coroner's Office said. Berretta was taken to St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem, PA where he died of his injuries at 10:04 p.m., the coroner's office said. The coroner's office and New Jersey State Police are investigating the crash.

Pair Hospitalized After Vehicle Flips On Rt. 78 In Hunterdon County
Two people were taken to a local hospital after a vehicle flipped onto its roof on Route 78 in Hunterdon County Sunday morning, Sept. 17, responders said. The Whitehouse Rescue Squad responded to the crash on the westbound side in Readington and found the vehicle upside-down with one occupant still trapped inside. The latest forecast has increased the amount of snow in what's expected to be the first winter storm headed to the region Monday, Feb. 27. A motorist died during a medical emergency that resulted in a crash in Hunterdon County, authorities said. New Jersey State troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Route 78 westbound near milepost 20.2 in Lebanon Borough at 2:14 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16. Based on a preliminary investigation, the driver of a Chevy Silverado suffered a medical emergency and subsequently struck the center median guardrail, State Police said. A 27-year-old man from Hillsborough died in a crash on Route 78 Monday, Feb. 13, authorities said. Sebastian Hofmann was heading east in a Dodge pickup truck when he struck a Tesla around 10:10 p.m. in Warren Township, New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said. The Tesla crossed the roadway to the left and struck a metal guardrail in impact while the Dodge ran off the road to the left and struck several trees and overturned. Hofmann was ejected and killed.
