A 40-year-old Lebanon Borough resident was arrested on Friday, April 12 after he was discovered with narcotics in a QuickChek parking lot in Readington, police said. At 3 a.m. police responded to a report of an aggressive driver traveling east on Route 22 near County Line Road and pulled over Michael Fittipaldi in a QuickChek parking lot, Readington police said. Six people suspected of involvement in an armed robbery were arrested following a pursuit with multiple police departments on Route 78 on Saturday, New Jersey State Police said on Facebook. At 9:05 a.m., Newark police were pursuing a vehicle westbound on I-78 in Tewksbury, state police said. The vehicle came to a stop and the six suspects fled the scene on foot, police said. Pair Hospitalized After Vehicle Flips On Rt. 78 In Hunterdon County
Two people were taken to a local hospital after a vehicle flipped onto its roof on Route 78 in Hunterdon County Sunday morning, Sept. 17, responders said. The Whitehouse Rescue Squad responded to the crash on the westbound side in Readington and found the vehicle upside-down with one occupant still trapped inside. Fire crews from Whitehouse and Oldwick assisted in extricating the remaining occupant and stabilizing the vehicle before EMS professionals from Hunterdon Health transported two patients to nearby hospitals for additional evaluation and treatment.

Amner Ochoa-Cifuentes, 34, was seen peering into windows of at least one home on Pulaski Road in Readington around 9:10 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 6, township police said. Fire crews jumped to action to knock down a three-alarm blaze at a Hunterdon County home. The fire broke out early Sunday morning at a home in East Whitehouse, according to a Facebook post from the Oldwick Fire Company. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered smoke coming from the back of the home and stretched multiple lines to the basement, authorities said.
