NJ Field Hockey Coach Sent Sexually Explicit Texts To 17-Year-Old Girl: Prosecutor
A 39-year-old Flemington field hockey coach was arrested on Thursday, March 28, and charged with sending one of his players, a 17-year-old girl, sexually explicit texts, authorities said.
Brett Clay, a travel field hockey coach employed by Centercourt Field Hockey in Mount Olive, exchanged the text messages with the teen, a Bridgewater resident, Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald said.

Pedestrian, 18, Killed As Nissan Crosses Double Yellow Lines On Rt. 202, Veers Onto Sidewalk
An 18-year-old was walking on the sidewalk of Route 202 when he was struck and killed by a Nissan that veered off the roadway over the weekend, authorities said.
Bedminster Township Police responded to the crash on Route 202 near Elm Street in Bedminster around 6:10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, the department said.
Investigators say a 35-year-old Flemington man was heading westbound in a 2017 Nissan Maxima when the vehicle strayed from its lane, crossed the double-yellow line, and veered off the roadway before hitting William Richardson, a pedestrian on the sidewalk.

Joseph Vincent Luongo, who died on Saturday, March 25, is being remembered as a loving son and brother, according to his obituary.
Luongo, 33, lived in Pompton Plains and previously lived in Nutley, according to the obituary.
He worked as a boiler operator at Johanna Foods in Flemington, and is survived by his parents, Francisco and Deanna, and his brothers, Francesco and Valentino.

Lifelong Flemington resident Jason F. Coleman died while visiting friends in Bloomington, Minnesota, on Sunday, March, 26. He was 28.
Jason was born and raised in the Flemington area, his obituary says. He worked as a painter for RW Coleman Painting with his father.
