Molly Dowd, 43-year-old New Jersey mother, died Monday, April 1, the day after a deer jumped through the windshield of the car she was riding in on a Pennsylvania highway, according to her PA State Police and her obituary on the Dangler Funeral Home website. Three juveniles were injured in a car crash late in the evening on Saturday, Feb. 24 on Route 31 in in Hunterdon County, state police said. At 11:02 p.m., a Ford pickup truck traveling northbound entered the southbound lane of travel and collided with the front of a Subaru SUV traveling southbound at milepost 39.4 in Hampton Boro, Troy McNair, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Driver Injured After Car Crashes Into Tree, Bursts Into Flames On Route 80:

A driver was injured on Route 80 in Morris County after they crashed into a tree on the evening of Thursday, Feb. 22, authorities said. At 9:35 p.m., a driver lost control of his Chevy SUV while traveling on Route 80 westbound in Roxbury Township, Troy McNair of the New Jersey State Police said. The car ran off the roadway and collided with a tree, McNair said. As a result of the crash, the vehicle became fully engulfed in flames, McNair said. The driver sustained moderate injuries and was taken to an area hospital, McNair said. The crash remains under investigation, McNair said.

Route 80 Crash Snarls Traffic In Morris County
All lanes are closed after a car crash on Route 80 westbound near Exit 30 by Howard Boulevard in Mount Arlington on Friday, Feb. 16, 511nj reports. Drivers are being forced to use the shoulder due to the lane closures, according to 511nj. Car Crash Knocks Down Power Lines: Chatham PD
A car crash caused a power outage in Chatham on Friday, Feb. 2,authorities said. Main Street was closed between Fairmount Avenue and Lafayette Avenue after wires went down following the crash, the Chatham Borough Police Department said on Facebook. Power remains out but is expected to be restored within the hour, police said. Police are asking residents avoid the area while they replace the pole, officers said.
