Two men were arrested following a suspicious traffic stop that saw them trying to conceal items from officers in Virginia, police say.
Members of the Fredericksburg Police Department busted local resident Jerome Blake III, 37, during a stop last week, during which he was caught attempting to hide a weapon, but was not quick enough to pull a fast one on officers.
According to the agency, during a subsequent search of Blake and his vehicle, they recovered a concealed gun, methamphetamine, and heroin.

An 18-year-old driver was arrested during a routine motor vehicle stop in which Fairfax County police found just under 100 fentanyl pills, wads of cash, and marijuana, police said.
An officer stopped Fredy Ralda Rojas, of Bailey's Crossroads, at 9 p.m. on Saturday June 1 at Glen Carlyn Drive and Glen Carlyn Road, county police tell Daily Voice.
The officer saw large amounts of cash and narcotics.
Turns out, Rojas had 87 fentanyl pills, more than 2.5 ounces of marijuana, and a large amount of cash, police said.

A Rochester, NY man whose dog bit a Loudoun County deputy after leading a reckless pursuit that landed four people in the hospital has been sentence to prison time.
Justin Connor, of Rochester, NY, who was 27 at the time of the July 2023 incident, was sentenced on May 23, 2024 to seven years and three months in prison by Judge Matthew P. Snow, the county sheriff's office announced.
Connor was found unconscious behind the wheel of the car in the Sheetz gas station parking lot at Dulles Plaza in Sterling, around 8:25 a.m. July 22, 2023, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.

Man Assaults Officer Telling Him To Back Off Of Security Guard In Arlington, Cops Say
A Maryland man has been arrested in Virginia after assaulting and seriously injuring an officer overnight, police said.
The officer was conducting parking enforcement on the 2900 block of Columbia Pike in Arlington when he saw 29-year-old Otis Brown, of Waldorf, MD, confronting security of a nearby business around 12:50 a.m. Sunday, May 26, county police said.

Yet another Peeping Tom has been arrested in Arlington.
This one was drunk, too, police said.
Curtis Moore, 44, was identified as the man looking into the home of a woman on the 1500 block of Key Boulevard Road around 3:45 a.m. on Friday, May 17, county police said.
A lookout was broadcast, and responding officers found Moore, who matched the victim's description of him, police said. Moore was charged with peeping and being drunk in public.
Herbert Otey, a serial peeper, and Christopher Sails were arrested in the last few weeks in Arlington, and charged with peeping.
