Norfolk Southern trains were in a head-on collision, derailing three trains on Saturday morning — sending the two locomotives into the Lehigh River, authorities said. A former Amtrak engineer has been cleared in a deadly train derailment in Philadelphia in 2015. Brandon Bostian's train was going 106 mph — more than double the speed limit on the tracks — on an S-curve when he slammed on the brakes in Frankford Junction in May 2015. Over 30 train cars-- including one carrying oil-- were overturned in a train derailment on Monday afternoon in York County, according to Emergency Dispatch Services.
