L.L. Bean Hiring For New Store In Central PA Calling all outdoor enthusiasts! Finally, Central Pennsylvania fans of L.L. Bean will be able to shop and work at the iconic outdoor gear company.  L.L. Bean announced on June 24, that it is slated to open one of its three new locations in the Mechanicsburg area in the Silver Springs Plaza in the fall of 2024.  This will be the four L.L. Walmart Employees Steal $2.2K+ In Merch From PA Store, Police Say Two women stole over $1,000 each in merchandise from a Central Pennsylvania Walmart, the police announced on Monday, June 12, 2023.  Shanterry Lynette Woodard and Nataly Danielle Rodriguez-Altache stole the merchandise from the Walmart located at 1000 Town Center Drive, according to West Manchester Township police.  Over several months, Woodward stole $1190.60 and Rodriguez-Altache stole $1038.22 for a total of $2228.82 worth of merchandise, the police explained.  Both women were employed by Walmart when they were caught on June 5, 2023, according to the police.  …

Employer's Nightmare: Fired Employee From Lebanon Threatens To Shoot Former Co-Workers Every employer worries about how an employee will take the news of a change in employment status, on Wednesday one of the worst case scenarios almost happened. Whorten Elmer Haines, 56, of Lebanon did not take the news for his firing well, according to police in New Holland. New Holland Borough police were called to a business on Diller Avenue around 3:57 p.m. Upon arrival officers spoke with employees of the business who stated that when the manager fired Haines-- threatened to come back and shoot his former co-workers.  Police located Haines and took him into custody.   …
