Officials have identified the 68-year-old Lansdale motorcyclist killed in a crash on Monday, Sept. 9. David F. Yacko died in the crash at Geigel Hill and Cafferty roads in Lansdale on Monday, Sept. 9, Bucks County Coroner Patricia Campi tells Daily Voice. A Philadelphia native, Yacko was passionate about cars, and worked as a skilled mechanic for more than 50 years, according to an obituary published by Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home. : Lansdale Motorcyclist Killed In Bucks County, Police Say
A 68-year-old motorcyclist from Montgomery County was killed Monday, Sept. 9 in Bucks County, authorities said. Tinicum Township police were dispatched to Geigel Hill and Cafferty roads at about 4:30 p.m. to investigate a motorcycle crash. The unidentified driver from Lansdale died of his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, police said. Police are investigating a single-car crash in Lansdale on Wednesday night, March 28, authorities say. It happened on the 200 block of North Broad Street around 9 p.m., police said in a release. A BMW-550 was heading north and tried to pass another car on the left but lost control and struck a gas pump at the 291 N. Broad St. Sunoco, officials said.
