A South Jersey woman is facing charges in three different towns after abandoning several dogs in a forest and paying for parvo treatment using a stolen credit card, authorities said. Trouble for 45-year-old Jodi Wozniak began on Sept. 16, when five German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois were found in the woods near N. Pitney Road in Galloway, Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill said. Some of the dogs were tethered to a tree and others were inside kennels with no food or water, police said. Prosecutor: Atlantic County Man Sexually Abused Teenager For 8 Years
A 43-year-old man from South Jersey has been arrested for sexually abusing a 19-year-old woman multiple times for eight years, authorities said. The alleged sexual abuse by the Hammonton resident began when the girl was 11, according to Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner. Dan Bocelle was charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault and five additional sexual assault-related charges, Tyner said. The FBI is urging anyone who got tested for COVID-19 at an Atlantic County lab to get tested again. In a tweet Friday morning, the FBI's Newark office said anyone tested at Infinity Diagnostic Laboratory in Ventnor should be retested as soon as possible.
