The incident happened around 5:10 p.m. Thursday, July 25, in North Woodmere. The 9-year-old suffered contusions to her head, neck pain, and a possible fractured left arm, Nassau County Police said.  She was transported by Nassau County Police Helicopter to a local area hospital for treatment and is currently listed in stable condition. Nassau County Police said the man forcibly touched the victim “in an inappropriate sexual manner.” No other details were given. According to Nassau County Police, the teen boy was driving north on Route 135 in a 1998 Toyota Corolla. Just before 4:15 p.m., he collided with a 26-year-old woman, also driving north, in a 2013 Range Rover. He was taken via helicopter to a local hospital for treatment, where he is currently listed in critical condition. The other driver remained at the scene and no other injuries were reported.
