Schools Searched After District Receives Overnight Bomb Threat In Westchester Several schools in Westchester were thoroughly searched after a district received an overnight bomb threat, police announced.  On Monday night, Nov. 20, the Rye City School District received a bomb threat to its buildings that was sent over email, the Rye Police Department announced.  Although the threat was not thought to be credible, all five of the district's schools and the Central Administration Building were searched into the early morning on Tuesday, Nov. 21 with help from the Westchester County Police Bomb Squad, police said.
