LI Man Who Had Trouble Keeping Foot On Break During Sobriety Checkpoint Charged With Dwai A man with a previous DWI conviction who was unable to stay at a complete stop at a Suffolk County Sheriff’s sobriety checkpoint was arrested for allegedly driving while under the influence of drugs. Shortly after midnight on Saturday, Oct. 26, Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Riverhead resident Rashawn Lamb, 34, after he drove through a sobriety checkpoint on Sunrise Highway in Southampton.
