Fire Breaks Out At Popular Nassau County Restaurant Three firefighters suffered injuries as they battled a blaze that broke out at a popular Long Island restaurant. A fire broke out at Piccola Bussola shortly before 12:45 p.m. on Jericho Turnpike in Mineola, fire officials said. Upon arrival, fire crews found the restaurant and the apartment above the restaurant fully engulfed in flames. Multiple fire departments responded to extinguish the fire for hours before it was declared extinguished around 8 p.m., officials said.
