Locust Valley Woman Accused Of Setting Fire At Group Home
Six residents and two staffers have been displaced from a group home on Long Island after a woman allegedly set fire to a mattress. The Nassau County Police Arson Bomb Squad said the incident took place around 1 a.m., Friday, Jan. 26 in Locust Valley. According to detectives, officers responded to a 911 call for a house fire located at 67 1st St. A mattress was set on fire and the Locust Valley Fire Department responded to extinguish the flames.
