The Fairfield County incident occurred on Thursday, May 2 in Wilton, according to the Wilton Police Department. Two Long Island Men Nabbed Passing Counterfeit Money, Police Say Two of three men were caught allegedly attempting to pass counterfeit money at two Wilton stores, police said. The incident took place around 5:23 p.m., Monday, July 29, when Wilton Police were called to the Gateway Shopping Plaza on Danbury Road for a report of three men attempting to pass counterfeit money at Michael's and Sally Beauty, said Wilton Police Lt.
