Police stepped up drunk driving enforcement through the evening of Tuesday, March 17 into the early hours of Wednesday, March 18. This included a DUI checkpoint on West Avenue, as well as additional roving DUI units patrolled throughout the city. Police arrested two people for allegedly operating under the influence.
