A driver was rescued and rushed to a nearby trauma center after a vehicle plunged down a steep embankment and landed in a pond in Hunterdon County, authorities said. The Flemington-Raritan First Aid and Rescue Squad responded to the crash near Route 202 and Colony Road in Raritan Township just after 8:35 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, the department said. A trapped driver was extricated and flown to a nearby hospital following a serious crash on Route 206, developing reports say. The crash occurred near 178 Rt. 206 in Roxbury Township around 6:30 p.m.on Monday, May 23, according to initial and unconfirmed reports. Driver Taken To Trauma Center In Hunterdon County Rollover Crash: Police
A driver was taken to a nearby trauma center following a rollover crash in Hunterdon County, authorities said. The vehicle crashed into a telephone pole and overturned on Route 523 near Edgewood Road in Readington around 6:15 p.m. Friday, township police said in a release. The driver was taken to a trauma center by the Whitehouse Rescue Squad for treatment of unspecified injuries, police said. The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.

Elderly Worker Airlifted With Serious Injuries After Tractor Pushes Him Into Barn Door
An elderly man working on a tractor in Hunterdon County was airlifted with serious injuries Tuesday afternoon when the machine started up and pushed him into a barn door that then fell on top of him, authorities said. The incident occurred on Croton Road in Franklin Township around 2:45 p.m., Township Sgt. Kevin Bollaro told Daily Voice. The man was taken via helicopter to the closest trauma center as a result of his injuries.
