Two-Alarm Blaze Rips Through Hunterdon County Barn (Photos) A two-alarm blaze ripped through a Hunterdon County barn and extended into two adjacent buildings on Monday afternoon, Oct. 16, responders said. The fire broke out in the village of Sergeantsville shortly after 12 p.m., prompting a response from crews in Quakertown and Stockton. Firefighters found the barn fully engulfed in flames that required more than 3,000 gallons of water to douse. Meanwhile, a special call supplemented the municipal water source in the area, the Quakertown Fire Company said. Crews operated at the scene for about 90 minutes.
