Beloved Phillipsburg HS Grad, Marine Corps Member Who Fought In Iraq JC Delgado Dies At Age 34 Beloved Phillipsburg native and Marine Corps Infantry member Jan Carlos “JC” Delgado died at St. Luke’s Hospital on Sept. 19 at the age of 34. Born in Phillipsburg, Delgado graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 20013, his obituary says. Delgado then went on to enlist with the United States Marine Corps as a Lance Corporal in the Infantry, where he served in combat in Ramadi, Iraq, his memorial says. Wallet, Cash Stolen In Back-To-Back Phillipsburg Armed Robberies A wallet and more than $200 in cash was were stolen during two back-to-back armed robberies in Phillipsburg over the weekend, authorities said. Two men, at least one in a ski mask, approached the first victim near Fischer Avenue and Anderson Avenue, showed a gun and demanded his wallet around 7 p.m. Sunday, LehighValleyLive reports citing Warren County Prosecutor Jim Pfeiffer. Surveillance Footage Shows Phillipsburg Liquor Store Shoplifter Putting Bottle In Pants Police are on the lookout for a man captured on surveillance video stealing a bottle from a Phillipsburg liquor store. The suspect can be seen putting a bottle of liquor in his pants before fleeing on the 600 block of Memorial Parkway Sunday, authorities said.
