One Injured After Warren County Garage Fully Engulfed In Flames:

One man was inured after a garage fire in Warren County on the evening Sunday, April 14, authorities said. At 8:02 p.m., state troopers responded to a home on Mallard Pond Road in Hardwick Township and found a garage fully engulfed in flames, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. All residents evacuated prior to the trooper's arrival, Lebron said. One injury was reported and the person was transported to an area hospital for medical evaluation. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Irvington Woman Fatally Struck By Truck On Route 80:

A 27-year-old Irvington woman was fatally struck by a truck while she was standing by her disabled vehicle on the shoulder on Route 80 in Warren County on the morning of Monday, April 8, authorities said. At 8:21 a.m., a Honda was parked and disabled on the right shoulder of I-80 in Hardwick Township when a tractor trailer traveling east struck Valdaishi Simpkins, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. A North Jersey man already facing time in federal prison was sentenced to more time in State Prison for sexually abusing a teen Boy Scouts of America counselor in training nearly a decade ago. Colin Skeele, 37, of Florham Park, was sentenced to 18 months in New Jersey State Prison for the abuse, which occurred at the Boy Scouts Camp NoBeBoSco in Hardwick Township, when he was 26 years old, Warren County Prosecutor James Pfeiffer said. 3 Hospitalized In Crash Involving Passenger Vehicles On Rt. 80: State Police
Three people were hospitalized in a crash between two passenger vehicles on Route 80 Sunday night, August 27, state police said. The vehicles collided on the eastbound side near milepost 12 in Hardwick Township just before 9 p.m., NJSP Det. Jeffrey Lebron told Daily Voice. Both drivers and one passenger were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Lebron added. The vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene. The crash remains under investigation. No further details were released.

Major Delays Reported Along I-80 In Hardwick
Major delays were being reported along Route 80 in Warren County, NJ Saturday morning, Aug. 19. It wasn't immediately clear what was causing the 25-minute delays (at least) through Hardwick Township near the Delaware Water Gap. Photos captured by the DOT camera showed traffic piled up along the westbound side of the highway at NJ-94, at 10:55 a.m. Motorists were encouraged to find another route — or settle into bumper-to-bumper jams.

This crash occurred at mile marker 1.2 on Route 80 eastbound in Hardwick Township at about 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23. State and federal firefighting agencies battled a wildfire that spread across nearly 70 acres of a popular hiking trail on the New Jersey side of the Delaware Water Gap and was still burning Monday morning.
