On Saturday, Feb. 3, a man came to Blairstown Police headquarters and said he had a pop-up virus on his computer with a phone number to contact Microsoft, police said on Facebook. When he called the number, the party advised him not to contact anyone or do anything with his computer and he was later told he had to withdraw $45,000 from his checking account, police said. The student was trying to land the single-engine Cessna 172N alongside the flight instructor at Blairstown Airport around 10:15 a.m., according to the FAA.
