Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Capitol Heights Man Killed After Crashing Into Parked Vehicles Police have identified the 28-year-old killed in a crash over the weekend in Landover. Prince George's County Police found Capitol Heights resident Jibrell Moore inside a crashed vehicle in the 1000 block of Hill Road around 7 p.m., Sunday, March 19. Investigators say that Moore lost control of the vehicle while driving south on Hill Road and struck a parked car.  The force of the initial impact pushed the parked car into another parked car. Moore was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two vehicles were unoccupied at the time of the collisions.

One Injured In Reservoir Hill High Rise Fire At least one person is injured after a fire in a Baltimore high rise, authorities say. Emergency crews arrived at the 200 block of Druid Park Lake Drive after reports of a fire in an apartment building around 10 a.m., Monday, March 20, according to Baltimore officials.  The fire was found in an apartment on the 7th floor of the building and was able to be contained by a fire sprinkler system. The injured person is being treated by emergency crews for their injuries.
