Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Bush's national intelligence director was sentenced to 35 years in prison for fatally stabbing her friend in a margarita-fueled, Maryland argument in 2020, authorities said. Pole-Swinging Man, Angry Woman Assault Anne Arundel County Police Officers Two Anne Arundel County Police Officers are recovering after being assaulted in separate incidents, authorities say. Baltimore Pair Arrested In Attempted Murder Case Two suspects have been arrested after being accused of shooting a 48-year-old man in Baltimore earlier this month. Latonya Arter, 43, and Randy Jones, 46, were taken into custody on the morning of Thursday, March 23, according to the Baltimore Police Department. The pair is believed to have shot and injured the victim in the 1300 block of North Gilmor Street on Thursday, March 16. Both suspects were taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility where they were charged with attempted first-degree murder and several handgun violations.

MD Bus Driver Who Claimed Mental Disorder Made Him Sexually Abuse Special Needs Girls Sentenced A Montgomery County school bus driver has been sentenced to 40 years in prison after he was convicted of sexually abusing children who rode his bus. Etienne Kabongo, 67, claimed he was not criminally responsible for abusing the four girls due to a mental disorder after he pleaded guilty to the crime, announced the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office.
