The crash on Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 30, closed Harbor Road between Route 79 and Tennent Road, Marlboro police said. There were power outages reported in the area and JCP&L had been notified. A detour will be in place shortly, police said at about 2 p.m.  Please avoid the area if possible, police said.

The truck hit the guardrail and overturned, according to New Jersey State Police. The crash did not result in any serious injuries, State Police said. NY Man Dead In Fiery Turnpike Crash A New York man died in a fiery crash that closed the New Jersey Turnpike Saturday morning, July 22, police said. Henry Subin, 77, of Katonah, NY, was heading north in a Jeep Grand Cherokee when he struck the concrete barrier of the toll plaza, overturned, and became fully engulfed in flames around 9:45 a.m. in Carneys Point.  The crash, near milepost 2.4 on the northbound side, closed toll lanes 1 to 4 for four hours.  Subin was killed as a result. The crash remains under investigation.
