One road in Egg Harbor Township is expected to be closed for about a year because of a bridge reconstruction project, authorities said. A crash on the Garden State Parkway had traffic backed up for more than two miles in Brick Township in the afternoon on Friday, Jan. 12. The NJDOT says the crash happened southbound on the parkway near exit 91 B-A just before 3:30 p.m. Two lanes of traffic were closed as crews responded to the scene.
