Firefighters Knock Down House Fire Closed Holmdel Street
Firefighters knocked down a fire that closed a street in Holmdel Monday, Sept. 25.
The blaze broke out around 11:10 a.m., bringing firefighters from several companies to Holmdel Road.
All residents had evacuated when police arrived, and the blaze was put out by firefighters, police said. No injuries were reported.
The Holmdel Fire Department and First Aid responded along with fire and first aid units from Hazlet, Union Beach, Middletown, Keyport, Tinton Falls, and Aberdeen.

Woman Flown To Hospital Following South Jersey Senior Housing Fire: Report
A woman was flown to a PA hospital following a fire that broke out at a senior housing center in South Jersey, NJ Advance Media reported.
The woman, whose name was not released, was found unresponsive as emergency crews arrived in Vineland at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, the outlet said citing Fire Chief Luigi Tramontana Jr.
The blaze started in a kitchen at D’Orazio Terrace complex on South West Avenue, fire officials said.
