Gerardo Patrizio Charged With Sexual Acts On Child
A 65-year-old East Hanover man was arrested and charged with performing sexual acts on a child over the course of two years, authorities said. Gerardo Patrizio committed the sexual acts multiple times on a child between March 1, 2022 and March 1, 2024, Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll, Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, and East Hanover Township Police Chief Christopher Cannizzo said. A new QuickChek has opened in Essex County. QuickChek recently opened a new 4,542-square-foot store in Belleville at 190 Cortlandt Street. The store celebrated its grand opening on Tuesday, March 5. Boston Market stores across New Jersey owe its workers thousands of dollars in back wages, and the state's labor department is taking action. An emergency gas leak shut down a Morris County intersection and evacuated two homes on Friday, May 26, according to police and developing reports. Initial and unconfirmed reports said a gas line was struck on Mt. Pleasant Avenue in East Hanover around 10:30 a.m., requiring crews to clear two homes. Driver Killed In Morris County Crash On Route 280: State Police
A 58-year-old driver died in a Sunday morning crash on Route 280, authorities said. The crash occurred in the westbound lanes near milepost 2.2 in East Hanover around 11:25 a.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told Daily Voice. A Hyundai passenger vehicle driven by Nathaniel Gardiner ran off the right side of the road and down a grass embankment before hitting a tree, Curry said. Gardiner, of Bloomfield, was killed in the crash. The incident remained under investigation. Additional details were not released.
