A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shootout in which a deliveryman was stuck by a stray bullet last month in Baltimore. Darrien Gaither of Baltimore has been charged with attempted murder in connection with the Dec. 29, 2023 incident on the 2400 block of Liberty Heights Avenue, Baltimore police said. Baltimore Police have identified the body found in a container as that of a missing 75-year-old woman. Versey Spell was reported missing to authorities in October 2022, according to Baltimore police. On Tuesday, March 7, Spell's body was found inside a container in the 3900 block of Liberty Heights Avenue. Ms. Spell was last seen at her home in the 3900 block of Barrington Road in October 2022.
