Police Officer Charged With Domestic Violence In Fairfield County
A Fairfield County Police officer was charged with stalking and fear of safety, among other charges, in connection with a domestic violence case.
According to Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police Department, Officer Dani Soto, was arrested on Wednesday, July 3, following a criminal investigation that began in May into domestic violence allegations.
Soto, age 47, of Bridgeport, has been on administrative leave during the investigation.

A Connecticut man has been charged after he allegedly repeatedly stalked a woman for months while she drove to and from work, police announced.
New Haven County resident Nicholas Perugini III, age 53, of Waterbury, was arrested on Thursday, June 8 at around 1 a.m. for his alleged role in the stalking of a woman that spanned several months, according to Connecticut State Police.

Man Follows Woman From NYC To Norwalk, Assaults Her, Police Say
A Fairfield County man has been nabbed for allegedly following a woman home from New York City and assaulting her.
The incident ended on Wednesday, June 9, in Norwalk.
An off-duty Norwalk Police Officer observed Andrew Delarosa, age 20, of Stamford, push the victim on the sidewalk, Norwalk PD Lt. Terrence Blake said.
Delarosa then picked the victim up and took her into the parking lot of 33 Winfield St. and out of sight of the officer, according to Blake.

Two Fairfield County men were arrested, one for allegedly stalking an ex-girlfriend and for a firing gunshot in the area of her home and vehicle.
The men, Ian Murray, 33, and Christopher Smeriglio, 34, both of Norwalk, were arrested by Wilton Police on Thursday, Jan. 7, following a report of shots fired, said Lt. Gregg Phillipson.

A man who had allegedly been threatening and harassing an ex-girlfriend and her family has been arrested.
Derek Pleasant, 51, of the Bronx, was arrested on Monday, Dec. 28, for the incidents which had been occurring since October, said Darien Police Captain Jeremiah Marron.
The victim, a Darien resident, told police on Thursday, Oct. 1, about the ongoing threatening and police met with Pleasant on that same day where he said he would no longer contact the victim, Marron said.

A Fairfield County man has been arrested for allegedly stalking and slashing the tires of three women he dated.
Thomas Capozziello, 28, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 19, by Fairfield Police and charged with criminal violation of a restraining order, stalking, electronic stalking, and criminal mischief, said Fairfield Police Capt. Robert Kalamaras.

A Stratford man who worked as a maintenance employee at Staples High School in Westport has been arrested for allegedly stalking a student.
Paul Telep, 52, was arrested on Tuesday, May 7, and charged with stalking, after a school resource officer observed him allegedly recording a student in the school cafeteria, said Westport Police Lt. Jillian Cabana.
