Spotsy Motorcyclist Died Days Before 42nd Birthday Services have been set for the Spotsylvania motorcyclist killed last month, days before his 42nd birthday. Kendall Neas was killed in a Massaponax Church Road accident while navigating a curve on his motorcycle on Wednesday, Aug. 30. He was set to turn 42 on Sept. 2, his obituary says. Neas worked as the maintenance coordinator at Bickford Senior Living where he "enjoyed not only maintaining the building but also caring for its residents," his obituary reads. Spotsy Motorcyclist, 41, Killed In Head-On Crash A 41-year-old Spotsylvania motorcyclist was killed in a crash Wednesday, Aug. 30, authorities said. Kendall Wade Neas was operating a 2016 Suzuki motorcycle on the 4200 block of Massaponax Church Road when he crossed the double yellow line coming out of a curve at a high rate of speed around 6:30 p.m., Major Troy Skebo of the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office said. Neas struck a 2019 Subaru head-on, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Subaru's 27-year-old driver was treated at the scene and released.
