Vivek Taneja, of Alexandria, was knocked unconscious during a fight on Friday Feb. 2 around 2 a.m., on the 1100 block of 15th Street NW, DC police said. The ACPD responded to the 2200 block of S. Kenmore Street where officers detained two people and recovered a firearm. High School Basketball Game Called Off After Player Assaults Opponent: Stafford Sheriff Benches cleared on Tuesday night during the Colonial Forge High School basketball game against Mountain View High School in Stafford when a large fight broke out and members of the sheriff’s office had to step in. Shortly after 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said that a basketball player assaulted another on the opposing team, and a large crowd formed on the court during the chaotic scene.
