Drunken Fugitive Captured By Citizens During Police Chase In Stafford: Sheriff
A 30-year-old Virginia fugitive was captured by a group of Good Samaritans while running from police on Monday, April 22, authorities said. Jordan Perrin was spotted asleep at the wheel by Stafford County Deputy C.C. Crossett on Courage Lane around 8:20 p.m., the sheriff's office said in a release. Perrin, of Ruther Glenn, admitted to drinking beer prior to driving and admitted his license had been revoked due to a prior incident involving alcohol. Pickup Stolen From Spotsy Medical Center Plunges Into Ni River: Cops
A 42-year-old man was arrested after crashing a pickup stolen from a nearby medical center in a river Wednesday, April 10. Keith Lee Brinkley Jr. is believed to have stole a 2007 Ford work truck from Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center but lost control, sending the truck into the Ni River at Patriot Highway and Hickory Ridge Road around 7:50 a.m., the county sheriff's office said. A shooting outside Sheetz in Spotsylvania County is being investigated as a possible hate or bias crime after two Hispanic men from Prince William County were shot overnight, police say. Caroline resident Douglas Wayne Cornett, 57, is behind bars following an investigation into a shooting that was reported on Thursday night. The holidays were a little too happy for a driver in Virginia who was busted for alleged impaired driving on I-95 in Virginia on Tuesday afternoon.
