Inmate Charged With Assault After Tossing Cup Of Water At Virginia Detention Center Officer An inmate has been charged after assaulting an adult detention center officer in Prince William County, authorities say. Alexander McCadden, 28, was charged with assault and battery on an adult detention center officer after throwing a cup of water at an officer around 3:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13, according to Prince William County police. No injuries were reported as a result of the altercation, and McCadden remains incarcerated inside of the Prince William-Manassas Adult Detention Center. A court date to address the incident is pending.
