Boar's Head Provisions Co., Inc. is recalling several different deli meat products due to the possibility of Listeria contamination. The US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has announced a recall of all liverwurst products produced by the establishment that are currently available in commerce. Additionally, certain deli meat products produced on the same line and on the same day as the liverwurst may also be adulterated with L. monocytogenes. A recall for a brand of vegetables and bagged salads has been expanded to 18 states due to possible Listeria contamination. Ohio-based Wiers Farm began its investigation in response to the Michigan Department of Agriculture's original findings, which led to the expansion.
