The man broke into a home on the 2200 block of Stone Wheel Drive in Reston and robbed the woman at gunpoint. Police said only that he then tried to flee across a nearby golf course. While police did not say which golf course he fled through, the closest is Reston National Golf Course is located approximately one mile away. He was quickly apprehended, police said.
