A teenager is in custody after police say he shot a Dulles Town Center store employee with a BB gun in a shoplifting incident over the weekend. On Saturday, May 11, around 4:30 p.m., Loudoun County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the Foot Locker store at the Dulles Town Center Mall for a reported robbery, injured person, and suspect who had fled. Leesburg Stabbing Suspect Held Without Bond
A Leesburg stabbing suspect is being held without bond, authorities announced. Joel Escobar-Barrientos, 29, has been charged with one count of malicious wounding in the 4 a.m. incident Saturday, June 24 on the 500 block of Crestwood Street SW, local police said. Escobar-Barrientos stabbed the victim in his 20s in the upper body during an argument, police said. The gunman who opened fire during a dispute at the food court inside the Dulles Town Center Mall in Loudoun County was apprehended in just minutes after shooting a stranger, authorities announced.
