A Pennsylvania college student from New Jersey was found dead on campus over the weekend, according to officials and recent news reports. Christian Samay (Class of 2024) died on Saturday, March 30 at Bucknell University, according to the school's president, John C. Bravman. A Virginia college professor was found dead over the weekend in Florida where he had been attending a conference, university officials confirm. Averett University's Dr. David Hanbury, an associate professor of psychology, was found dead on Sunday, March 17, the university said. One person died in a Fairfax County townhouse fire early Christmas morning, officials said. Firefighters arrived to flames shooting out of a residence of a home on the 14100 block of Red River Drive in Centreville, officials said. A 31-year-old man reported missing in September has been found dead, authorities said. Albert Salemme had last been seen on Sept. 12 on the 7700 block of Lafayette Village Drive in Annandale. A nude man died moments after breaking into a Fairfax County home, police said. The unidentified man was acting erratically after forcing his way into a home on the 5700 block of Ash Drive in Springfield around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, county police said. Officers were on scene of the shooting in the 8700 block of Sacramento Drive in Woodlawn when they found the man with a gunshot wound to the upper body, county police said.
