US Rt 30 Reopens After HazMat Called To Jackknifed Tractor-Trailer In Lancaster (Update) A jackknifed tractor-trailer caused major delays on US Route 30 on Friday afternoon. The tractor-trailer leaked fuel onto US Rt. 30 East by Exit: PA 462 - Lincoln Highway, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications.  The jackknifing happened around 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 1, dispatchers explained. No injuries were reported, but a HazMat crew remains on the scene for "spill control," dispatchers said. Company 63 from the  Lafayette Fire Company assisted Lancaster County HazMat with the cleanup. Man's Car Struck By Train, Pushed 200 Feet, Police In Lancaster County Say A 29-year-old man was driving a car that stopped train tracks and ending up getting pushed and rolled off the tracks, police announced on Wednesda night.  Kaden Stetler of Horseshoe Road in Lancaster was driving a silver 2009 Ford Edge that stopped on the tracks in the 300 block of Willow Road for an unknown reason shortly before 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 6, according to East Lampeter Township police.  A Norfolk Southern train struck Steltler's Ford on the passenger side – pushing it approximately 200 feet – then the car "dislodged" and rolled off of the tracks, the police said.  …

Lancaster Man Struck In Marked Crosswalk ID'd: Police A 74-year-old man has been identified after he died at a hospital after being struck in a Central Pennsylvania crosswalk, police announced on Tuesday, Sept. 5. Tar Pee Tu of Charles Road in Lancaster, was struck in the crosswalk in the first block of Pitney Road in Lancaster at approximately 11:13 p.m. on Sept. 2, the East Lampeter Township Police Department detailed in a release.  The southbound striking vehicle was a gray 2009 Acura TSX driven by 34-year-old Luis Petrilli-Rivera, of South Ann Street in Lancaster, the police explained. He remained on the scene.&nbs…
