One man is in the hospital after his home exploded on Friday morning, Pennsylvania State Police told Daily Voice. The explosion happened at 84 Stump Lane in North Heidelberg Township, Bernville, according to Trooper David Beohm. The man who rented the home was injured but was able to walk himself to a nearby home and call 911 at 6:50 a.m. on Dec. 15, Beohm explained. The condition of the neighbors's homes is unknown as the renter of the exploded home has been left with a side of his home collapsed but notably no fire damage. Five people were dead and several trapped in rubble when a house exploded Thursday, May 26 in Pottstown, authorities said. UPDATE: The victims have been identified. Two people were taken to local hospitals for treatment after the blast, which happened around 8:05 p.m. on Hale Street and Butler Avenue, borough officials confirmed. Two women were airlifted to area hospitals and at least four dogs were missing following an explosion in Vineland Wednesday, multiple news outlets were reporting. Lancaster Explosion Victims Identified
The two adult victims of a deadly house explosion in Lancaster County have been identified by the coroner. David Preston, 63, and his wife Victoria, 60, died in the house explosion and subsequent fire. The exact cause and manner of death has not been made public. The fire remains under investigation.
