The Littlestown school bus yard had eighteen school buses with fire extinguishers, cars and homes in the area vandalized by three teenagers and one adult, according to area police. "We are urging parents, you need to look into some of the social media activities your kids are involved with," the Littlestown school's superintendent stated in a letter sent home to parents. Leggy, whose full name is Deputy Alegra, died Monday of a brain tumor. The K-9 had served the community for 11 years, teaching about safety and working as an explosive detector. Her partner was Sheriff James Muller who trained her and worked with her during her time with the force. Leggy made spaces safe for officers to enter a scene and safely do their work. Michael Hertz's arrest comes after an investigation by the Conewago Township police after multiple men in Adams County say they received bad checks for items and they were scammed into purchases they never received from Hertz, according to the DA.
